Tax Professional –  Conway, South Carolina 

A unique position to work from home with a client base in Hawaii!  We are looking for talented and skilled tax preparer in the Conway, SC area with a minimum of two years tax experience, who is ready to join our team of hard-working professionals.  This position will focus mainly on the preparation of Form 990 returns for our long-time, established nonprofit clients.  Our tax manager in Conway will provide onboarding and daily face-to-face meetings.  After a training period of approximately four to six weeks, you will be able to manage your own hours, work from your home and establish your own schedule.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • ·     Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or comparable experience in public accounting and bookkeeping

  • ·     CPA or EA license, but not required

  • ·     Bookkeeping experience, with a strong understanding of both cash and accural accounting

  • ·     Nonprofit experience is preferred but not required

  • ·     Critical thinking, attention to detail, problem solving, and organizational skills

  • ·     Available to work half-days in person for four to six weeks in the Conway, SC area before transitioning to remote work

  • ·     Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • ·     Experience with Ultra Tax a plus


Tax Professional –  Big Island  Hilo or Kona

Staff Auditor – Big Island - Hilo or Kona

**This job will be in office and is not a remote position**


We want you to continue to grow your Financial Audit career in a family friendly environment!  Our Firm is looking for a Financial Auditor with either a few years experience, a seasoned auditor or someone as experienced as a audit manager.  We specialize in non-profit accounting, owner associations, schools and construction company audits.  We work hard to prevent stressful deadlines and we strive to use a team approach in all we do.


Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Prepare portions of compilation, review, and audit engagements,

       to include documenting the execution of specific procedures performed

  • ​Audit work at your level and training and to grow to a higher level

  • Assist clients with routine accounting functions

  • Interview clients, examine documents and document your work

  • Some travel to other islands is required


The ideal candidate must possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

  • CPA or plan to attain it

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Advance Flow paperless audit software a plus but will train

  • Desire to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Produce college transcripts as well as a resume and references.


Bookkeeper – Kona, Hawaii & Wailuku, Maui

**This job will be in office and is not a remote position**

We are seeking a Full-Time Full charge Bookkeeper for our Kona and Wailuku Office. This position is open for someone who appreciates a job well done and would like to grow in their career.

The ideal candidate must possess but not limited to:

  • 1 -  3 years of bookkeeping experience

  • Knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office – Word & Excel

  • Bank reconciliation

  • Credit card reconciliation

  • Fixed assets & Depreciation

  • Prepaid schedules

  • Expense coding

  • Understands and has experience with Payroll processing and tax related payments & filings

  • Understand accrual vs cash basis accounting method

  • Knows adjusting entries

  • Knows restricted revenues and expenses

  • Debt amortization schedules

  • Knowledge of Non-Profit accounting, helpful

  • Understands Equity roll forward


Pay for each position dependent upon experience: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
