Staff Auditor – Big Island - Hilo or Kona
**This job will be in office and is not a remote position**
We want you to continue to grow your Financial Audit career in a family friendly environment! Our Firm is looking for a Financial Auditor with either a few years experience, a seasoned auditor or someone as experienced as a audit manager. We specialize in non-profit accounting, owner associations, schools and construction company audits. We work hard to prevent stressful deadlines and we strive to use a team approach in all we do.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Prepare portions of compilation, review, and audit engagements,
to include documenting the execution of specific procedures performed
-
Audit work at your level and training and to grow to a higher level
-
Assist clients with routine accounting functions
-
Interview clients, examine documents and document your work
-
Some travel to other islands is required
The ideal candidate must possess:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
-
CPA or plan to attain it
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills
-
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
-
Advance Flow paperless audit software a plus but will train
-
Desire to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Produce college transcripts as well as a resume and references.
Bookkeeper – Kona, Hawaii & Wailuku, Maui
**This job will be in office and is not a remote position**
We are seeking a Full-Time Full charge Bookkeeper for our Kona and Wailuku Office. This position is open for someone who appreciates a job well done and would like to grow in their career.
The ideal candidate must possess but not limited to:

1 - 3 years of bookkeeping experience

Knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office – Word & Excel

Bank reconciliation
-
Credit card reconciliation
-
Fixed assets & Depreciation
-
Prepaid schedules
-
Expense coding
-
Understands and has experience with Payroll processing and tax related payments & filings

Understand accrual vs cash basis accounting method

Knows adjusting entries
-
Knows restricted revenues and expenses
-
Debt amortization schedules
-
Knowledge of Non-Profit accounting, helpful

Understands Equity roll forward
